The follow-up to my executive session on organizational recovery: I have been asked if others can access the same briefing. Yes! I have questions for leaders to consider:
1- Is your primary objective the health, safety, wellbeing and resilience of all your employees & clients? How do you know? (Evidence pts: performance or sustainability is not the game now! )
2- What do you need to know from employees- What has worked well for them? What do they wish to continue to do/expect from leaders? & what will be better if?
3- How is your organization planning aligned with the pandemic modelling in your community?
4- Have you identified “circuit breakers” in your plan? Will these be communicated to all employees to prepare for organizational reversals?
5- What people analytics are you capturing to inform your relationship with employees, pre-covid, current-covid, and future desired post-covid culture?
6- How are you segmenting the needs of employees based on their career ARC: young employees, middle career employees, and senior employees & their health, safety, & financial challenges & needs?
7- Are you changing your culture from an “attendance-based compensation” to one recognizing a defined “work from home” strategy?
